24/7 Hotline: 315-767-6128

SAPRP provides support and advocacy for victims of sexual assault. SAPRP offers services respecting an individual’s confidentiality, dignity and the need for information regarding victim’s rights, reporting options and advocacy until disposition of the case.

Regardless of your reporting choice there are many services and resources available for victim assistance. SAPRP offers reporting options to all military personnel.

Restricted Reporting: Restricted reporting options does not initiate an investigation, nor is the Chain of Command notified. Restricted reporting provides you more time to make an informed decision about reporting an incident.

The restricted reporting officials are as follows: Sexual Assault Response Coordinator, Unit Victim Advocate, Chaplain, or Health Care Provider.

Unrestricted Reporting: CID and Command are notified and an investigation is initiated.

The program ensures a Unit Victim Advocate is assigned to all military personnel victimized in order to offer support and guidance for the Soldier to make an informed decision when reporting. Civilian victims are referred out to appropriate resources for advocacy and assistance.

Classes and trainings regarding the prevention of sexual assault and/or an effective response capability to an incident are available for all civilians and Soldiers assigned to Fort Drum, New York.

Suggestions and/or comments are welcome.
