Accredited by the Council on Accreditation
Fort Drum has two School Age Centers offering a supervised
comprehensive before and after school program for children in
grades K - 6 which include all
facets of development in four main areas:
- 1. Sports, Fitness and Health Options
2. Arts, Recreation and Leisure Activities
3. Life Skills, Citizenship, and Mentoring
4. Intervention/Support Services.
The goal is to provide safe, flexible and affordable
before and after school child care options for parents while
providing fun
and enriching choices for youth.
To help youth build life skills, SAC also partners with other Family and MWR activities to develop a varied schedule of extra-curricular
options, such as bowling, arts and crafts, swimming and project
research at the Library.
Youth flourish from participating in
activities such as the Boys and Girls Club and developing
award-winning 4-H projects.
Children may enjoy fun filled learning experiences in the computer
lab, while others enjoy a multitude of educational and
interesting activities.
Program are for
youth in grades K - 6:
Morning Care, 6 - 8:30 am
Afternoon Care, 3 - 6 pm
Open Recreation, First Saturday of the month,
Noon - 4 pm for grades 1 - 5
Camps and hourly reservations available during the summer,
school vacations and school delays.

Registration
Enrollment for the School Age Center Programs is ongoing at
Parent Central Services located in Clark Hall.
Downloadable CYS Services Registration forms: Please print, complete
forms and bring into the Parent Central Services Office.
