At Family Day, Fort Drum personnel and their families are invited to enjoy a free day at Remington Park from 10 am - 3 pm to cheer on Military units as they compete at a Warrior Endurathon, 5K Run, Raft Races, Tug Of War, Volleyball, and Climbing Wall. This day-long event will also feature music, food, children's games and play area. This is a free event presented by Family and MWR. Parking for this event is shown below. A shuttle will transport you back and forth from Remington Park. There will be NO parking for this event inside Remington Park.
About Remington Park: Fort Drum's premier recreational facility
offering a variety of activities for individuals and units
alike. The park is located on the shores of Fort Drum's
Remington Pond and is open May - October. The park features 5 large pavilions, several medium pavilions
and picnic areas for family groups, volleyball, horseshoes, playgrounds, fishing docks (catch and release only), a beach area with lifeguard, and a fitness trail.
Lodges: Two lodge facilities are available for rent (day use for special
events) through the Fort Drum Commons Catering
office at 315-772-6222. Beach: The beach offers
swimming, paddleboat, and kayak rentals. Dog Park: A fenced in play area is located at
Remington Park designed to give pets a safe place to run with
adult owner/handler. Open daily 6 am - 8 pm. Visit the Parks and Recreation office for registration requirements. Pavilions: Reservations may be made for the large and medium pavilions
through the Parks and Recreation office at 315-772-8222. Pavilion rental for Unit Functions can be arranged by calling 772-5844.
Park is a day use facility.

Mountainfest Sporting Events Schedule

Fort Drum Units compete in many different sporting events the week prior to Mountainfest. See the schedule above for days, times and locations. This schedule was correct at time of publication and may be subject to change without notice. Call 772-6661 for more information regarding Sporting Events.
The Fort Drum and North Country Community is invited to Division Hill on June 26, to enjoy the day at Mountainfest. The fun begins at 1 p.m. at this yearly event featuring military equipment displays, amusements, games, and food and beverage concessions. A pay-as-you-play Adventure Zone will offer ATV rides, Archery, Paintball Arena and Rock Climbing Wall. Children under the age of 18 must be accomplanied by Parent or Guardian to participate. Age and weight restrictions apply for some Adventure Zone activities.
Once again, The Boss Custom Car, Motorcycle, and Audio Show returns to Division Hill with vehicle competition registrations beginning at 1 p.m. At 5 p.m., Salute To The Nation begins, a highly anticipated event and community favorite at Mountainfest with a patriotic rank and file display honoring each state in the union.
AmeriCU Credit Union in partnership with Carthage Area Hospital, Lockheed Martin, and Martins Point Health Care present a free concert immediately following Salute to the Nation. Opening acts are 2013 North Country Idol winner - Corey Walts, Syracuse's newest rock band - Scars N' Stripes, and headliner, with six albums to his credit including "This Ole Boy," country music star - Craig Morgan. The concert will take place on Fort Drum's Division Hill. Your family and friends can top off this amazing day by staying for a spectacular fireworks display immediately following the concert.
